Welcome to Troop 121's Website

Welcome to Troop 121!

Troop 121 is a distinctly Christian Troop serving South Orange County. We are chartered out of Stonecreek Christian Church in Rancho Santa Margarita meeting most Mondays from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. Troop 121 is high adventure with monthly camp outs and semi monthly outings. We serve young men from fifth grade through 18 years of age. Family participation is strongly encouraged and necessary for the functioning of our outfit. Due to our following the Lord Jesus, we draw from Tustin to San Clemente.

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us," - Hebrews 12:1 (NIV)

Troop 121 Mission

Troop 121's Boy Scout program at Stonecreek Christian Church is designed to develop Christian character and teach life skills to young boys so that they will be a positive influence reflecting high moral and ethical leadership in their community.

The Boy Scouts program is a boy-run organization with adults guiding, coaching and empowering boys as they develop into Christian leaders. Our vision is to use this program as a vehicle to instill Christ-centered values that will develop into a strong and positive witness for Christ.

Troop 121 is a balanced program with day events like hikes and bikes rides, weekend camp outs with merit badge and camp fire events, week long programs like summer camp and training events, high adventure programs with weekend and long term back packing and water treks.

In Troop 121 you can start out slow and graduate into more challenging programs or hit the ground running.  "We are all about the boys" so each level of program is constructed to allow a boy to advance at his skill level and ability.

 Webelos and New Scouts

Troop 121 has a plan to train new scouts that join to insure their fun and success in the program. Basic scouting skills are taught along with safety and first aid programs.

Merit badge classes are offered as well as instructional training so that a scout can become quickly qualified to start to participate in high adventure and more challenging scouting events. No other organization teaches young men to become leaders and how to lead like scouting.

Charter Organization

Troop 121 is proud to have Stonecreek Christian Church in Rancho Santa Margarita as its sponsor.

Founded in 1988, and located in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, Stonecreek Christian Church is a non-denominational, family-oriented congregation aspiring to emulate the authenticity and fervor of the first century church.

By serving as doers of God’s Word, we seek to inspire and foster sincere followers of Jesus in response to God’s abundant grace and salvation. We cherish the Bible as the literal and divinely inspired Word of God.

Moving forward, Stonecreek desires to serve as a beacon of God’s love and offer a fortified faith to those who desire it, becoming a united group compelled to action in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
